Simple strategies
that you can follow to forget
what stress feels like

Be comfortable with who you are.

It’s easy to get your feathers ruffled if someone criticizes or critiques you and you aren't confident about yourself or your abilities. You take their words personally, which may leave you feeling hurt, angry or disappointed, and ready to fight.

Process things before you just react to them.

When something happens and you are tempted to just react, stop yourself. Take time to process what you saw or heard. It’s easy when you act impulsively to make the wrong move, creating a situation that is worse than it has to be.

Know your priorities.

Decide what’s important in your life and what isn't. If something happens and you determine it’s a molehill compared to a mountain, you're more likely to let it go without wasting precious time and energy on it.

Give yourself the best chance for career success

Stop Being so Dramatic

It’s impossible to be calm and relaxed when we think that something is the end of the world. Things are going to happen at work that suck and you’re going to have to deal with people that you would rather not talk to. Take a deep breath and adapt to the situation without being dramatic.

Accept Your Flaws and Mistakes

Once you realize that mistakes are fixable and that you can always learn from them and improve next time, you will become a more easy-going person to work with and be around. You will be able to nod and smile when your boss gives you less than positive feedback and go back to your desk to do a better job.

Take a Breath Before Replying

Speaking before we have a chance to really think about our response gets us all in a lot of trouble. If you’re someone with a quick temper, make it a point to take a deep breath before you have to answer someone that you work with. You will give yourself a chance to figure out whether it’s really worth getting upset over what they just said.

Don’t worry

Changing our way is possible

Run away from
“this is how I am”
and learn some new skills.

You may need to work on a few of them, but you cannot fail at them all.

Don’t stress, change requires the will to renovate.

Plan, take action train through repetition and be patient. Look for the good side of things.

Think positively

If you constantly think that everyone has bad intentions, you will never know how many good things they can do for you.
